This is my first blog, so here goes…
I’m Chloe, a mother of two and the wife of Matt Hamilton. Matt’s the voice you’ll talk to about booking rides for your event, giving ride measurements, weather forecasts for your school fetes, Christmas parties, sporting club days and any other event you can dream up, he’s the guy you need. He’s the tall guy with the big smile and straw hat to match. Matt’s so passionate about his work and I’m so proud of him and the genuine businessman he is.
Matt and his brother Alex have grown up in the show business. They grew up watching their Grandpa working with their Dad and Uncle. And then working weekends with their Dad, John. Putting in long hard days in all sorts of weather to provide for their family. Putting up rides, working all day, pulling down rides, driving on to the next town and doing it again. It’s ingrained into them an old-school tough but fair attitude.
As time went on and the old ones got older, the boys picked up the skills and made their own way with the business and keeping up with the times…and Safework SA standards.
You won’t see the hard work in Winter to maintain a good ride, working in the cold rainy days – because it’s the only time of year there’s no work on. You won’t see the mountains of paperwork that has to be filled out to get a certificate to say we can work a ride. You don’t see the sleepless nights of thinking of new and wonderful ideas to better the business, to give the regular customers something new and exciting. It’s family business, and it’s 24/7!
As a customer of Hamilton Amusements you will only see professionals, with confidence, doing what they know best – backing trucks into tight school driveways, making sure our rides are the safest in SA, providing friendly attentive staff, ensuring your event is a success and that you come back year after year.
I see all the hard work and tired eyes after a big weekend of work and I am as proud of Matt and Alex as they are of the business!
